Read the question, decide on your answer, then turn the card. Cards you miss come back a few cards later.

Picking a choice is graded by the answer key, and the result is saved to your progress. If you turn the card without picking, you grade yourself: a miss is saved, so study mode brings the question back sooner, but a card you mark as known is not, because grading yourself would overstate your chance of passing. Only a card's first showing in a session is saved, since a card that comes back has just shown you its answer. Saved results count toward your pass estimate.
